Dr.Njeri.S.Ngacha,PhD,OFS.
Assistant Professor in the School of Business
Dr. Njeri is an accomplished Project Planning and Management Specialist. His quest for Research, Teaching and Community Service has been recognized by various Universities, Foundations and Trusts. Dr. Njeri has Eighteen Scientific publications with the global accredited peer reviewed journals. He is a reviewer with Journal of sustainable Development based in Ontario Canada amongst others. He has taught in Africa, Europe and United States of America. He has been a lecturer at the Catholic University of EasternAfrica, Mount Kenya University, University of Nairobi and Currently teaching at NorthwesternStateUniversity of Louisiana as an assistant Professor in the School of Business. Dr. Njeri also served as the Director in the Directorate of Quality Assurance and Head of Department of Social Sciences And Development Studies at Catholic University of Eastern Africa shortly before joiningNorthwestern State University of Louisiana in January 2023. Dr. Njeri was a member of an innovation Computer Project initiative targeting youth’s from informal settlements dubbed ProblemBased Learning in 2019 to 2022. The Problem Based Learning innovation project was initiatedbyFive Universities, University of Nairobi in Kenya, Dare salaam University in Tanzania, MakerereUniversity in Uganda, Alto University in Finland and D-School in South Africa.
Dr. Njeri skill sets ranges from Proficiency in advanced Computer information Systems, Research with advanced expertise in Project Planning and Management, Monitoring and EvaluationSkills. Lecturing, Supervising, Conducting Oral Defenses for Postgraduate Students in BusinessAdministration, and Information Technology. In addition, Dr. Njeri has Sound analytical skills in Qualitative and Quantitative research analysis skills including use of statistical software Data(STATA), Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) and NVIVO software in data analysis and collection. Dr. Njeri skills also extends to Grants and Proposal writing, formulation of strategic plans for development partners, learning institutions and communities of different orientations. He is a founder member of a foundation dubbed Imagine Kenya Trust. Imagine Kenya Trust isa humanitarian Agency, Not for Profit making that advances social services to the most vulnerable in the community and advocating for social justice to the most at risk populations.
